CMMS integrations: we help plan and execute

Connect Runspine to the systems you already rely on. We plan the technical work, help deliver it, and keep the maintenance team moving toward go-live.

Updated August 2026

Why integration projects fail

A connector list does not answer the important questions: what moves first, what can wait, and who owns the cutover. Without those answers, go-live often waits on an IT ticket with no clear priority.

Book a demo

  • Everything must sync on day one, so nothing ships
  • No owner between maintenance and IT
  • Dirty Excel or ERP data with no cleanup plan
  • No written technical path or cutover owner

What Runspine integrations help means

Three practical outcomes for a project that needs to move.

01

Technical planning

We map what should connect, what can wait, and what you should leave alone for go-live. Order matters more than a long connector list.

02

Execution with you

Imports, mappings, and handoffs with a clear owner on both sides. You are not left guessing which field goes where.

03

Cutover you can trust

We agree what “live” means: which teams switch first, what stays in Excel for a week, and how you roll back if needed.

Common integration patterns

Every plant is different. These are the patterns we see most and how we usually approach them.

01

Excel and CSV

When
When most of your truth still lives in spreadsheets
What moves
Assets, plans, history, and sometimes parts lists
How we approach it
Structured import, cleanup rules, sample load, then full cutover. Often the fastest path to a usable CMMS.

02

ERP and finance

When
When purchasing, cost centers, or article masters live in ERP
What moves
What to sync now versus later: masters, POs, or costs
How we approach it
Phase it. Go live on maintenance first; automate ERP links once the loop is used daily.

03

Identity and access

When
When IT cares who can sign in and which sites they see
What moves
Users, roles, site membership
How we approach it
Start simple for pilot sites; harden access as you expand. We plan with your IT constraints, not against them.

04

Partners and contractors

When
When external firms work on your assets, or you are the service provider
What moves
Account and site boundaries, handoffs, evidence
How we approach it
Use multi-account structure so customers and contractors stay clean without shared-spreadsheet chaos.

What you walk away with

  • A written sequence: migrate first, connect second, automate third
  • Field mapping notes for the data that actually moves
  • A test load on a real sample of your data
  • A cutover checklist with owners and rollback notes
  • Support through the first weeks after go-live

How we work with you

  1. 01

    Discovery

Short call on your stack, data quality, and who owns IT vs maintenance. Bring a systems list if you have one.

  2. 02

    Plan

A written sequence you can show GF or IT. No surprise scope on week three.

  3. 03

    Build and test

Imports and interfaces tested on a real sample before full cutover.

  4. 04

    Go live

Support through the first weeks so planners and techs are not alone when something looks wrong.

What we will not pretend

We are clear about what is available today. When the right path is a managed import, a focused interface, or a phased ERP link, we scope it plainly and help deliver it.

Runspine approach

Start from your stack and go-live date. Plan the minimum technical path that gets technicians completing work, then deepen connections.

Integrations: common questions

Book a demo and bring your current systems list. We will sketch a technical plan on the call.

Do you have native ERP connectors?
We assess your ERP and recommend a phased path, often import first and then a targeted interface. Bring your system names to the demo so we can discuss the right sequence.
Can you migrate from Excel?
Yes. Excel and CSV migration is the most common start. We help clean and load assets, plans, and history so you are not alone with a template.
Who does the technical work: us or you?
Both. We plan and help execute. You keep ownership of source systems and approvals. Clear owners on each side are part of the plan.
When should we integrate vs just go live?
Usually migrate and go live on the maintenance loop first. Connect ERP and extras once daily use is real. Integrating everything before first use is how projects stall.
Is integration included in seat pricing?
Basic CSV migration help is part of go-live conversations. Larger ERP or multi-site integration work is scoped, often under Custom. We confirm that scope up front.
